Hot Honey Wings

These hot honey wings are the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. They are so easy to make and perfect for game day!
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients 

Wings:

  • 1 ½ lbs of chicken wings or wingettes
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Oil for frying

Hot Honey Sauce:

  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ c hot sauce

Instructions 

  • Pat dry the wings then season with all of the seasoning listed.
  • Heat oil over medium high heat in a large frying pan or pot, the oil should be at least 2 inches deep. If you have an oil safe thermometer, it should read 375 degrees when ready.
  • Fry the wings for 10-12 minutes, until crispy and golden.
  • While the wings fry, mix together the hot honey sauce ingredients.
  • When the wigs are finished, toss with the hot honey sauce to coat.
  • Serve, eat and enjoy!
