Ingredients for pigs in a blanket

  • Mini cocktail-sized hot dogs: The heart of the recipe! Their bite-sized goodness makes them the perfect snack or appetizer.
  • Crescent roll dough: Buttery, flaky, and easy to work with—it wraps the hot dogs perfectly.
  • Egg: Helps create that golden brown finish on the crescent dough.
  • Water: Loosens up the egg wash for easy application.
  • Pinch of salt: Enhances the flavor of the dough.
  • Everything but the bagel seasoning: Adds a savory, slightly crunchy topping that makes these irresistible.

How to Make Pigs in a Blanket with Everything Bagel Seasoning

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Unwrap the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle into four strips.

Lightly grease a baking dish and wrap each mini hot dog in a piece of crescent dough. Arrange them on the baking sheet with space between each one.

Whisk together the egg, water, and a pinch of salt, then brush the egg wash over the dough. Sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning.

What’s a good dipping sauce?

Mustard, ketchup, honey mustard, or even a cheese sauce all work great with these.

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes! Assemble them and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to bake.
