Ingredients for Greek tzatziki sauce
- Cucumber – This gives tzatziki its signature crunch and coolness. I like to squeeze out the water from the cucumber so the sauce won’t be watery.

- Garlic – The flavor punch! Tzatziki without garlic is just yogurt dressing.

Tzatziki Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ c cucumber, grated, peeled
- 1 ½ c greek yogurt
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves , minced
- 1 tbsp dill, chopped
- ½ tbsp mint, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Squeeze of half a lemon
Instructions
- Grate the cucumber and Squeeze the excess water out of the grated cucumber with a paper towel.
- In a bowl combine all the ingredients and stir it up real good. Yes it’s that simple.
- Store in a container and enjoy as a dip or with a variety of dishes. It will last about 4 days.
