This Southern fried apples recipe is the kind of warm, buttery comfort that makes the whole kitchen feel like home. The apples turn soft in a rich cinnamon sugar mixture, filling every room with that irresistible smell as they cook.

Spoon them over oatmeal, serve them alongside pork chops, pile them on vanilla ice cream, or eat them straight from the pan (no judgment here). Once you try this Southern fried apples recipe, it’ll earn a permanent spot in your regular rotation.

Store your fried apples in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
That part is up to you. Cook them less if you want more bite, or longer if you want them extra soft and tender.
