How to make peach dumplings

This recipe is super simple, but the results are out of this world. I start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and greasing an 8×8 baking dish with butter. Then, I separate the crescent roll triangles and roll one peach slice in each triangle. Place these peachy delights into the baking dish and get ready for the magic.

In a small bowl, I mix together melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. This mixture is pure gold, y’all. Pour it over the peach dumplings, making sure to brush it on a little as well to get every bit of those crescent rolls soaked in sweet goodness. For the final touch, I pour some lemon-lime soda into the sides of the baking dish. This adds a little zing and helps create a beautiful syrupy sauce as it bakes.

Pop the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes until the dumplings are golden brown and bubbling with sweetness. Serve these warm with a scoop of ice cream for a dessert that’s pure comfort in a bowl. You’ll love how the flavors come together—the sweet, juicy peaches, the buttery, flaky crescent rolls, and that irresistible cinnamon-sugar sauce. So go ahead, treat yourself to these Peach Dumplings and enjoy every delicious bite!

Can you use canned peaches?

Yes, but fresh peaches will give the best flavor and texture.

What’s the purpose of the lemon-lime soda?

It adds a slight zing and helps create a syrupy sauce as the dumplings bake.

How long do peach dumplings last?

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
