How to make this recipe
Alright, let me break it down for you. This sauce is pure magic. First, I melt some butter because everything’s better with butter, right? After I like to skim off the top layer of white, which are the milk solids. This makes it more like clarified butter.
Next, I throw in a generous amount of minced garlic and let it sizzle for a hot second. Now comes the fun part—adding in all those glorious seasonings. Cajun seasoning, spicy Old Bay, smoked paprika—oh honey, it’s a flavor explosion.
A squeeze of lemon juice brightens it up, and a touch of parsley gives it that fresh, herby finish.
Drizzle it over seafood, pour it on roasted veggies, or use it as a dipping sauce. It’s versatile and adds bold flavor to many dishes.
Yes, store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
It’s rich, buttery, and packed with bold flavors from garlic, Cajun spices, and a touch of lemon.

Ouuuu this is the one ! Im using this sauce on EVERYTHING from now on
What kind of Cajun season did you use? I used Slap ‘yo Mama. This combined with the Old Bay made for an extremely salty mixture.
Hello, I used Badia Cajun seasoning. I try to use cajun seasonings where the first ingredient isn’t salt. The first ingredient in slap yo’ mama is salt, so it tends to be a pretty salty seasoning. However, the sugar should have cut the saltiness.
Hi is this recipe woth salted butter or unsalted?
Hi Kira, use unsalted butter =)
