Ingredients for Gochujang Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Brussel Sprouts: Use 12 ounces of shaved or halved brussel sprouts for this recipe. Roasting brings out their natural sweetness.

Olive Oil: Two tablespoons to help the brussel sprouts get crispy and delicious.

Salt, Pepper, & Garlic Powder: Season to taste for a simple but flavorful base.

Gochujang: Three tablespoons of this Korean chili paste add a sweet, spicy kick.

Honey or Maple Syrup: Two tablespoons for a touch of sweetness to balance the heat.

Apple Cider Vinegar: One and a half teaspoons to add a tangy note and brighten up the flavors.

How to make gochujang brussel sprouts

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Toss the brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Spread them in a baking dish and roast for 30 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix honey, vinegar, and gochujang. Pour the sauce over the roasted brussel sprouts and shake to coat.

Gochujang Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Spicy, sweet and tangy brussel sprouts with a Korean twist.

Ingredients 

  • 12 oz brussel sprouts, shaved or halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • 3 tbsps gochujang
  • 2 tbsp honey , or maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Toss brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper & garlic powder.
  • Add brussel sprouts to a baking dish and roast in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • In a small bowl combine honey, vinegar and gochujang.
  • Pour over the brussel sprouts and kind of shake a bit.
  • Place back in the oven for one minute.
  • Serve with your favorite main dish, eat and enjoy!

    I do not eat Brussels sprouts EVERRRRR lol. They usually have a bitter after taste but with this recipe now Brussels sprouts are one of my fav vegetables to eat. This is so yummy and easy to make !
