Eggnog French Toast
Brioche bread is soaked in a spiced eggnog custard and cooked until golden perfection. The perfect festive holiday breakfast.

- Brioche bread loaf
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ c Eggnog
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Butter
Slice the bread into about 8 thick slices.
In a shallow bowl whisk the eggs. Pour the eggnog in the same bowl with the vanilla extract and sprinkle in the cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix everything together.
Heat a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add the butter. Gently dip each piece of bread into the eggnog mixture on both sides. Add to the frying pan and cook until it's golden brown on each side. Add some more butter if needed. Do this in batches.
Serve warm with sprinkled powdered sugar on top & maple syrup.
