This bacon wrapped asparagus recipe is ridiculously easy to make but will seem like you put in a lot of effort. The bundles are roasted with olive oil, cracked pepper and a touch of brown sugar.

Ingredients
1bunchAsparaguscleaned, ends trimmed, about 15 stalks
1tbspolive oil
Saltto taste
cracked black pepperto taste
4slicesBacon
1/2 tbspBrown sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Put cleaned & trimmed asparagus in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt & pepper to taste. Separate asparagus into 4 bunches.
Wrap a slice of bacon around each bunch of asparagus. Place on a baking sheet with a rack underneath, seam side down.
Add some pepper to the bacon and brown sugar, not too much brown sugar on each bundle, approximately 1/4 teaspoon.
Bake for 10 minutes, flip and bake an additional 5-8 minutes. For crispiness, broil for 1 minute, but watch this because every broiler is different and may cook faster, you don’t want it to burn!
Serve as an appetizer or a side dish. Eat & enjoy!
Notes
You can easily make more bunches if needed. Just get more asparagus and bacon.
