Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Cut the tips off the wings and cut each wing in half at the joint. Pat the wings very dry and remove any feathers. Place into a mixing bowl and rub the olive oil all over the wings.
To a small ramekin or bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, poultry seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Season the wings evenly on every side and rub into the meat.
Place the wings into a small baking dish, 8x8 or 9x9 works great. Spread the peppers and onions on top. Pour 1/4 cup of chicken broth into the bottom of the dish.
Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for an hour and twenty minutes.
Once the hour and twenty minutes is up, remove the wings from the oven. Carefully pour the pan drippings into a container.
Heat a skillet over medium heat on the stove with the butter inside. Once the butter is melted add in the onions and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until the onions are translucent.
Add in the flour and cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
Whisk in the pan drippings and the chicken broth. Take your time doing this, pour it in increments. Once whisked together add in the Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Whisk occasionally for about 5 minutes.
Pour the gravy over the wings and bake uncovered for 35 minutes. Check to make sure the turkey is tender and at least 165 degrees internally.
Serve with your favorite sides, eat and enjoy!
