Homemade Orange Creamsicles

These orange creamsicle cups are creamy, citrusy, and frozen inside orange peels for an easy refreshing summer dessert. Served inside of the orange peels, they are fun with a hint of nostalgia.

  • Cut the oranges in half and scoop out the orange keeping the skin intact. Place the orange peels on a tray. If you don’t want any pulp in the creamsicles, juice the orange flesh otherwise proceed to the next step.

  • To a blender add the orange, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Blend until thick, about 30 seconds.

  • Pour the creamsicle mixture into the orange peels. Freeze for at least 6 hours but try to aim for overnight.

  • Serve right out the freezer, eat and enjoy. You can scoop it out to eat it or lick it like a popsicle.
