Easy Seafood Bake

This easy baked seafood boil is delicious, packed with flavor and comes together in only 35 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 c unsalted butter two sticks
  • 2 lemons
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 lbs crab legs
  • 1/2 pound shrimp shell on or off
  • 4 lobster claws optional - can sub for more shrimp or mussels/clams
  • 4 red potatoes cut into quartered pieces
  • 2 corn on the cob cut in half
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp hot old bay seasoning regular old bay is fine
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika regular paprika is fine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. In a large pot bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add the potatoes to boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes. Add in the corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Set on the side.
  • In a medium sized skillet melt butter on medium heat. Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add in the cajun seasoning, old bay, smoked paprika and sugar. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add in the juice of 1 lemon and stir. Set on the side.
  • Using two 13x9 baking pans or sheets assemble the seafood, corn and potatoes. Pour the sauce all over the seafood. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Take the bake out of the oven. Turn the oven to broil. Take the foil off the bake and place back into the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley, and add lemon slices to the pan. Enjoy!
